Half Day Tour
It
is a 475-hectare private reserve, located 50 minutes away
from San Jose, on the road that connects the capital city
with the Atlantic coast.
The
property shares a 10 km border with Braulio Carrillo National
Park and constitutes a buffer zone between the park and the
farming lands.
It
offers visitors the following attractions and facilities:
a hanging bridge accessible through a short walk; two gazebo
observation areas; a video room; the tram ride with a trained
nature guide (covering a distance of 2.6 km through the primary
rainforest and lasting approximately one hour and 20 minutes);
25 gondolas with capacity to seat six passengers plus the
guide; nature trails, the rain forest canopy tour; the butterfly
and frog garden; the serpentarium; gift shop; information
center; restaurant, cafe and parking lot.
Smoking
is not allowed in the reserve.
Easy
access for all people including seniors, children and disabled
visitors, and even the aerial tram gondolas are wheelchair
accessible.
